 Favourite Chapter?
« Thread Started on Aug 18, 2004, 4:01pm »

Which is your favourite chapter of the Hobbit?

When I was six I read the Hobbit for the first time, and I reread Riddles in the Dark about three or four times. I don't know what it was about it, I just loved the riddles.

Gollum on the other hand gave me nightmares.

I liked Riddles in the Dark, but I think my favorite was Flies and Spiders. Although I think it's probably why I'm an arachnaphobe now.

I didn't really have a favorite chapter, but Riddles in the Dark was good. I didn't have a favorite chapter because I didn't really like the book and was one of two that sit at our table at lunch (there are seven, including me) who actually finished it.

*Cowers*

I haven't actually read all of The Hobbit yet. I did attempt it but surprisingly found it harder to get into than LotR, which worried me, but my mum agreed. My friend Vampera (on HMS Wreckage) was reading it for ages I knew her as the girl who read The Hobbit...she's a devout HP fan now...I have failed *he he he*
